AREC 2024 Set to Be Biggest Year Yet

The Australian Real Estate Conference 2024 (AREC24) returns to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre next week (Sunday 26 May and Monday 27 May). Now in its 26th year, it has carefully curated an outstanding and diverse combination of highly respected international speakers and Australia’s best real estate minds as they share their wisdom, industry knowledge and strategies for success. AREC Founder John McGrath says this year will feature 30 speakers who will impart their knowledge and life experiences at the event.
“I’m proud of how this event has evolved over the years and strongly resonated with our industry. Over 90% of Australia’s top agents have attended AREC at least once and the majority return yearly. Equally about 800 agents cross the ditch from New Zealand, so it adds to the excitement and depth of the event,” says John.
“This year’s speaker line-up is a compelling combination of real estate experts and those who excite and inspire us everyday in their careers, success and thinking.”
And although the conference has had big names in the past (Author Ryan Holiday and Marketing legend Seth Godin to name a couple), this year it’s set to reach new heights of stardom with Ryan Reynolds delivering a talk via satellite.
“To have an international star such as Ryan Reynolds be a speaker is a milestone in AREC’s history. His success as both an actor and entrepreneur are extraordinary and we greatly anticipate his words of wisdom in our conversation with him. It’s one that should not be missed in my view.”
But it doesn’t just stop there, the full line-up includes the likes of SERHANT. CEO Ryan Serhant, The Rubenstein Group Founder and Luxe Listings Star Gavin Rubeinstein, Place Estate Agents New Farm Managing Director and Principal Sarah Hackett, and many many more. This year promises to go even further, with the launch of the AREC podcast. Helmed by respected industry leader Troy Malcolm, the podcast will be recorded live during session breaks with industry speakers.
