One: Branding & Home Styling
As branding in real estate has come to focus on more than just signboards, maintaining a consistent look in open home styling has become a priority. Savvy agents have begun strategically placing pops of colour in the staging of open homes, however it isn’t just any colour they’re choosing to showcase. Agents are capitalising on the age old notion of colour and memory recognition by using splashes of colour that align with their agency’s branding, which act as carefully placed reminders of the agent.
Two: Community Culture
As markets increasingly look for genuine and authentic professionals, we’re seeing agents shift their focus from self promotion to community promotion. Corporate Social Responsibility, also known as CSR, has always been a big thing for agencies. Now, however, it’s the agents themselves who are the driving force behind sponsoring local events and engaging with their community on a local level. The strategy behind this is softly marketing yourself with positive associations, with the aim of being seen as a trusted figure in the community and the go-to when in need of real estate services.
Three: Curbside Focus
Spring brings renewed focus to the exterior of homes on the market, so it’s no surprise that in the lead up to the big Spring selling season, agents are encouraging vendors to elevate their curbside appeal with small, but significant changes.
Four: New faces of real estate
We’re seeing a major shift away from the use of agent photos on marketing deliverables. In previous years, it was common to see agent photos on almost every single piece of marketing. This is now making way for a focus on brand values, modern designs and a sophisticated approach to marketing.
